(nicotinic acid) is used to support a variety of metabolic functions and to treat a number
of conditions but can cause a niacin flush. Niacinamide (nicotinamide) can be used for
most vitamin B3 supplementation and does not produce the flushing, but unlike Niacin,
Niacinamide cannot be used to aid in lowering cholesterol levels.
